Thermal Imaging - Pinhole Leak Detection
Advanced thermal imaging technology used to detect pinhole leak in water supply pipe to toilet. Non-invasive detection prevented major water damage and structural issues.
Project Overview
The Challenge
Wattle Downs, Auckland - A pinhole leak in a water supply pipe to toilet suite causing hidden water damage as well as damage to vital building elements throughout the home (2 Storey Home). Traditional detection methods would have required extensive invasive investigation which can be disruptive and costly to reinstate
Our Solution
Used advanced thermal imaging technology to precisely locate & repair the pinhole leak source minimising invasive procedures, such as cutting the walls open in multiple locations. During this job we documented before and after conditions across multiple areas including toilet, kitchen, and cabinet areas. Our Thermal Imaging photos, allowed the homeowner better visibility on how far the water leak had travelled
Key Features
- Non-invasive thermal imaging detection
